Steeping Pot

from $88.00

sale

A variation on a gaiwan. For steeping, straining, and pouring loose leaf tea.

Interior is glazed to fill line, exterior in variations of bare clay, light slip and clay washes. Exteriors sanded so smooth to the touch.

Brews 12 oz. (more if you brew as a concentrate) Approximately 4 1/4” across, 3 3/4” tall

My tips: steep with lid off so it stays cool. When ready to strain and pour, set lid, hold across top with the flat of one hand, fingers holding the cool rim of the pot, palm holding lid in place resting on knob. (Less complicated than my description might imply, see photo.)

Each piece of LULA Pottery is made by my hands, and you should expect to see natural variations brought about by human touch.

Made using commercial stoneware clay. Glazes developed and produced in-house. Washing by hand recommended (but I run everything in the dishwasher with environmentally conscious detergents). Microwavable. The bottoms of every pot are sanded smooth to protect your furniture.

$5 of every purchase $35 and over is donated directly to the World Central Kitchen-See Giving page for details.
